It's been a minute, but figure it's about that time. Facebook... A tool used to keep in touch and interact with friends. Simple enough concept, right? Although most of us can agree that it is fun to collect people (don't lie... Even if you're not purposely doing it you get some sort of joy watching that friends number go up one more) we do realize most of these people we rarely, if at all, even talk to. However, the seriousness of what people post, relationship statuses, and who has who on a friends list is taken to a degree that we at times have seen full wars go on over it. It's like "what? Oh, she/he is talking to him/her?!? Alright then I'll delete them! That'll show them!" or whatever. Although this is a light example, I ask... Is Facebook to be taken so seriously?

For me, FB is a great place to keep up to date with family and friends. I sign on at least once a day, but don't post every day. I do post often. According to my children, I put EVERYTHING on FB! Every event, every cute thing, every profound thought has a good chance of landing on FB. I'm a little older than you so maybe that's why I don't seem to notice who's talking to whom. I just enjoy seeing pictures and reading stories of friends and family and I enjoy allowing my friends and family a little peek into my life.

I know what you mean Sere, and that is what it was intended for... Simply sharing connections. Now though it's being used for diaries, drama, and grounds for battle among who does/did what and to whom. I rarely used this tool anyway, but even when I would it seemed that blood was in the virtual air!

Oh, and as for you Jazzguy, this thread wasn't about animals and DNA but I'll entertain you for a moment. You obviously aren't very educated because if you were biblically and scientifically we descend from the same 2 original people. Want a banana?
