my family has been breeding boxers for 11 years and we got our very first boxer in 1999. right now we have 10 or 11. I own a pure white boxer that my parents gave me out of one of the last litters.

I love all breeds but my favorite would have to be Pit bulls. I feel we have a lot in common because we are often judged before anyone gets to know us, feared by some for appearances, and are willing to give anybody a fair shot until they prove to be untrustworthy.

 You've never had a Yorkie. They are a big dog in a little dog body. Seriously they are (or at least think they are. They were one of the original rat terrier breeds, so although people think they are, they are not fragile nor are they a "lap dog".
If you ever watch them shake a toy, you wonder how in the world they keep from snapping their necks. But that is their nature, and is how they killed rats.
I'm with you on the Rottweilers and Dobermans. I used to have a red Dobe. Awesome dogs. I have a Boxer, and my Australian Shepherd. Aussies are brilliant dogs

I love almost all dogs, but am partial to the smaller breeds for one to call mine. I am owned by a very sweet, smart white miniature poodle. She is 7 and has been part of my life for 5 1/2 years. I love how she rejoices when I come home each night, bringing a toy to the door to greet me and squealing with delight....then turning belly up for a rub!
My previous dog was with me from 4 weeks old until she died at 14 years old. She was a poodle mix -- part mini poodle and part whatever jumped over the fence last! All cute and sweet, and much loved by so many!
God blessed me with both these precious companions, both given to me free. I was walking around a flea market in GA with my son, then about 22, on the day my firstborn would have turned 25. A vendor had this adorable fluffball in a kid-size shoebox on the back of her truck. As soon as I held her, it was love and the lady told me to take her before her daughter returned. Someone had given her the puppy and mom wanted no part of it!
My current dog was raised on a horse farm and given away to save her from getting hurt under the horses' hooves. She would run into the corral and have no.fear of the biggest horse! She also is very at home with other dogs and cats as her original owners had 4 larger dogs and a multitude of barn cats!

I love the collie and shelties too. the laste dog I had was a sheltie. I had to give him up. So I gave him to my sister she took good care of him.But one day the guy who lived next door to her shot and killed him. I realy miss him. he never hurt anybody and he love kids too. he was welled traind too. He just wounted to play wiht the kids next door. and for that he was shot and killed.  jill
