Well right now i dont have my son in my custody but i'm pretty sure i will be the custodial parrent soon enough and at that point i am not sure how i will make time to date... Any advise from any of the other single parrents out there?

Yeah thats what i am thinking... Dont know if i could really date... When i do get custodial rights dont know how i will... may just give up on dating for a few years or wait till my next slow season...

Ive had friends that met at the park, or other childrens activities. A man who shows he is a great dad and spends quality time with his children can be very attractive. Just make sure your child is the main priority.

U make time if u really want to date bcus u deserve to find happiness not just give it. It sound harsh but being a single I make time to have adult time. Not just to date but to go out & go have dinner with a friend coffee or bowling etc... But u learn to adjust Ur schedule. Hell I'm a business owner,PTA member & an assistant coach for my sons baseball team & he trains for MMA. So I can do it u can too.

you are not being harsh, mloca, you are being healthy. The best parents know they have to take care of themselves in order to take care of their children.

Thanks for your replies... And of course my son will be the priority... That is one of the reasons why i am fighting to be the custodial parrent my ex dose not give my son the attiention he deserves and neglects him... To the women that has pta, mma and sports going on i honestly dont know how u do it but know i will have to find my way too... Thank u all for your support and any advise that y'all can give me in the future would be gladly apricieated...

This is my M.O. too, lol. It's much harder to keep the two totally separate, but I feel it's important...I'm lucky to have my mom, after I put the kids to bed, I can go out for a few hours on the weekend. I never leave until they're asleep, and I'm always asleep in bed waaaay before they wake up. Do you have anyone who can babysit for a few hours on the weekend (or whenever works best for you)?

more and more men are becoming single parents and the primary caregiver. Its awesome to see, just watch the example of these stong beautiful women around you, they can be an inspiration when you are struggling with all the things that mothers have been doing since the beganing of time!
