I just heard on the radio.... that if their is emotional envolvement with someone... between two people other than your spouse.... that is without sex.... it's an affair....
what do you think... true or not.... If thats the case I must have at least 5 affairs a week.

i think that this is very true...even if you are not sleeping with someone, if yu have an emotionally intamate relationship with somebody, while you are with someone else...it is an affair..because most of the time...the emotion comes before the sex...so you may not be sleeping with them now but it will eventually happen

If the emotional involvement includes a 'longing for' or lustful imagery with hopes of it being more than a seriously, friendly or kindly loving situation... Then it would be an affair in my book.

I honestly don't think its an affair actaully if you have friends that are guys or girls and you are somewhat emotional with them is fine to me just no kissing unless its on the cheek then other than that kissing like actaully kissing would be consider an affair

This issue was covered on tv show king of queens were doug had the hots for food that spence's girlfriend made salads and foods and then carrie acussed him of having a food affair with the girl even though there was no sex.....she forbid him to see her or eat anything she made.....she catches him eating a salad...... she said no more food from this woman so deacon sneaks into dougs spot as the designated eater.....she was a cooking student and wanted oppinons.......so if this happened to you would you personally think hubby having affair? Carrie did but matter of oppinion i guess!

I would say yes it is an affair the reason being....your taking that time away from you significant other if you cant talk to the other person the way you do with your significant other there is an issue...Im not saying you cant have friends...But seriously think about it...If your man was chatting all the time with another woman you cant tell me you would be ok with it...wrong wrong wrong wrong...then again I have morals
