Yes... It seems like the most suitable way to go about a long lasting relationship. I've been trying to settle down for a couple of years. It's not as easy as I thought...

The sad thing is, if we are looking to settle down, we're viewed as not the norm these days.
We see on Tv and movies these couples who go back and forth for years... even then there is no real follow up. Look at what society has brought the younger generation to. It's considered ok to date and sleep around and not look for lasting relationships.
Personally, I would love to settle down with one person for the rest of my life... but finding that one person in millions isn't easy.

I guess it depends on what you mean by settle down. I've just come out of a 16 year relationship, I'm 32 so that's half my life. Part of me wants to let loose and make up for lost time. But to be honest I'm net really interested in that anymore. Most of those 16 years were great and I'd love to feel that way again, but I have no idea where singles my age gather so I'm here.
