Even if they say differently, everyone has said or done something over the course of their lives they now regret. If you had the chance to correct an action you took, or take back something you said to someone, what would it be?
For example, I would find a more constructive way to let my friends and family know they've said or done something that irked me.

I'm really hoping my daughter finishes her nursing degree before she gets married and starts a family. (I have no control over that. As far as I know there are no eminent wedding plans or pregnancy at this time. She's been living with the man she plans to marry for 2 years now.)

If I didn't have a blood phobia, I'd be a nurse right now. (That means I faint at the sight of blood other than the little bit that gums sometimes bleed while being cleaned and when a dog's nail is cut to the quick.)

I thought my answer to this would be marrying my last husband but he is the one who got me to GA, I love it here, so can't really say that.
I would say it would be the relationship with my siblings which is non existent, but they were a constant source of judgements and disappointments, who needs that in their lives.
I would say it would be lost friendships, but honestly, a true friend would be there thru everything, no matter what. If they are not then it is not a real friendship lost, right?
I would not change anything from my past, it has made me the person I am, I like me, whether anyone else does or not, so that can't be it.
Mmmmmmm I guess the biggest thing I would change is my trusting nature. I tend to trust someone until they give me a reason not to. I need to change my way of thinking to dis-trust until they give me a reason not to. Sucks ass, but with the world the way it is that is something I need to work on.

I was in nursing school, blood was never an issue with me. Then a life changing event happened. I had to quit school and change jobs. Twenty some years later, even talking about someone else's blood makes my knees go weak and if I see it I smell gunpowder, I don't faint and can usually bandage it up, but it totally screws with my head.

I have so many regrets that I don't even have enough time to write them all down. I don't regret anything I've said to hurt somebody. I cut to the bone and it's permanent. I do regret not getting an education and ending up at 40 with f**king NOTHING. I hate my ex-husband and hope he rots but if not for him I would not have 2 of the most wonderful boys in the world.

I've had a lot of negative experiences in my life but for the most part I try not to dwell on them I look at the things I don't like in current times about who I am or what's happening and change those... sometimes this comes across as me focusing on negative aspects of my life but it does a person good to discuss things they are disatisfied with and figure out how to fix them as best they can... can't change the past so its a waste of time to worry about what might have been worry about what is and what will be...
