I have a difficult job... When things go wrong people get hurt...So when things go bad at work and I go home to only my cat to confide in being glad I didn't leave work on a stretcher it gets to me.... Some days I just want a hug...

I went to the beach today, played in the tide pools and played in the waves for the first time in years. Yes I went with friends and they know my excitement. But I came home to a dark, lonely house and no one else to share my tales of the day with. I took a shower and ate dinner. I guess I'll call my mom tomorrow. By the way the beach was awesome today.

Well, I am not sure what the hardest part is yet. Since the legal seperation just started and I have a year to wait before I am divorced. I can say I have read many of these posts and I have already thought about many of them. Holidays, lonely times, not having that one person you could depend on for whatever. So, far mostly for me it is the fear of the unknown. What are the holiday going to be like, the long trips for work and no one wondering if you got there safe. So many things is racing inside my head. How are we both going to survive in a world today that I have not been in for 25 years. Who am I going to care about and who is going to care for me. I just keep thinking I am not the first one to face this and I will not be the last one.

For this moment in time I do like being single, so I get alittle lonely some times. I like not having anyone telling me I can't go or try to change me. I can come and go as I please. And no one snoring next to me.

@Ken Hang in there. And don't take this site too serious. Grow thick skin and stand up for yourself, these forums are full of cyber bullies. I have been on my own for 2 yrs and was married 20yrs. So this dating thing, well I am not to sure about it....yet. God I've been here 2 yrs...man that's sad. Dated some and a bunch of meet and greets, but no one stood out. Good luck and best wishes.

3.No one to give foot messages too.
4.No one to tell my funny jokes too.
5.No one to shop with.
6.No one to chill with.
7.No one to go to movies and dinner with.
8.No one to hold hands with.
9.No one to tell shes beautiful everyday.
10.No one to go CHRISTMAS and BIRTHDAY shopping for.
11.No one to watch horror movies with.
12.No one to make breakfast for.
But theres a**hole guys out there who treat woman like shit who gets all of this...bummer.
