I don't take much time off-- work 70 hrs a week usually.
Yesterday I took off and my BF drove us up to Michigan City, IN on the shores of Lake Michigan. (I'd never been there before) He got us a reservation at a really fancy restaurant on the inlet to the lake-- lots of boats and jet skis going in and out. BEAUTIFUL weather...
Unfortunately my meal was SO awful-- a dinner sized salad with grilled chicken ($11.00) The salad dressing had NO flavor, NO acidity-- the chicken was SO burned it was inedible I sent it back and opted for a bowl of soup since I was super hungry-- UGH it was awful too-- basically chicken broth with only a few veggies, white beans and some raggedy bits of chicken
My BF enjoyed his burger-- and luckily I didn't have to pay for that disaster of a salad or the soup. Management didn't even show up at our table to apologize 
I just fired off a scathing e-mail to the management today  and usually I NEVER complain or send stuff back.
The rest of the day was great though-- walking the beach, looking at boats, nice drive in the country...
