As I read the Fifty Shades Trilogy (I've just finished "Fifty Shades Darker"), I wonder if most people have experienced anything even close to what Ana and Christian go through.
Theirs starts out as an obviously dominant-submissive relationship, but have others gone through something without that element but perhaps similarly obsessive and deeply mutual... intensely carnal yet more than just physical, with a strong emotional sense; more than mere lust, but love?
Are such relationships common or do they exist only in the world of make-believe?

I've read a few chapters in each book, I am now waiting for my books to arrive, can't wait to read them. I'll probably be missing from DH, cause I can't put them down.

I finished the 1st book, I cried at the end. I'm 2/3 through the second, I have to make myself ( no Mr. Grey in my life) to put it down. I'm loving every word of them. He is so screwed up and she is right there for him. If is heart wrenching what they have gone through so far.
I will finish the 2nd one tonight, I won't be able to sleep if I don't.

I hope there is a fourth book,the trilogy is excellent! Loved the story! This is one of those books where you get so into the characters that you feel loss when there's no more of them. I'll miss Ana and Christian.

All i can say is WOW!!! The whole series is GREAT.. I actully read them before it became published in 2008. E.L.James wrote fanfiction for twilight.. Shes a AWESOME writter. I hope you like the books cause i know i did =)

Fur glove.. Awesome..
Too bad I read like half of the third book before I realized it wasn't the first one.. I thought they were good, but towards the end of the third one, I was serriously loosing interest till she shot the publisher.. Then I was thinking man it's not that bad after all.. Christian is a total badass though..

I thought the writing wasn't the best, but even so I couldn't put them down. I had to go buy the next book before I finished the one I was reading. It was perfect summer reading
