I am confident without being over-bearing. I am masculine without being "macho". I know how to “just listen”. I am financially secure and responsible and am retired after a very fun and rewarding career (retired CFO). I enjoy laughing (often at myself). I am almost handsome in subdued lighting. (grin) I am intelligent and can carry on meaningful conversations. I am 100% Italian descent. You will find a very gentle little boy inside of me that loves to play and laugh, as well as, a very strong character that has survived and succeeded in the face of life’s greatest tests. I care about other people’s feelings……When I’m with someone special, I enjoy being spontaneous, romantic, surprising them with little playful words and gestures. In time, I expect us to have lots of “inside jokes” and some of our most intimate communication will come from a smile, a look or a wink that only we will understand. I’m looking for someone that wants a lifetime partner, not a part-time playmate and I believe the foundation of the best relationship is mutual respect. My favorite dances are swing and hustle and my favorite concert was Bon Jovi's 1989 homecoming concert at Giant's Stadium.
I feel there must be mutual physical attraction for there to be good chemistry between two people, so being fit and trim are important, as well as sensuality and affection. I workout at the gym 5-6 days per week (weights & cardio each time). I believe a relationship is not the icing on a wonderful life. It is the cake and we should be the most important person in each other's life. I understand that your children and grandchildren are important to you, as are mine, but I believe in the primacy of our relationship and, as such, it must always come first. We don’t have to agree on this, we can just be friends instead.
My greatest accomplishment - I co-founded a charity that helped 4,000-5,000 men and women over a 10 year period.
Who is she?… She is my best friend. She is a woman who knows that developing a close, caring and respectful relationship can be the greatest joy. She is sincere, warm and honest, has a positive/upbeat view of life, as well as self-confidence and communicates well even if she thinks I won’t like what she has to say knowing that I need to hear her feelings anyway. I find strong, independent, assertive women that think for themselves EXTREMELY attractive. She enjoys her work and is respectful of others and likely has a history of volunteering to help others that are less fortunate. She has a wonderful sense of humor and doesn’t take herself or life in general too seriously, but can also be passionate in her beliefs and is financially responsible. She's tired of receiving mail from people that say the same old things and is ready to move her search on to HER keyboard.
