I love the outdoors and like animals (they seem to sense my inner peace and come close for a conversation and a scratch). I tan quickly and have an easy smile, and like to laugh. I'm told I'm fun to be with. I'm looking for a woman to be my friend with benefits and if she turns into a long term relationship, so much the better. I've been married twice. I tend to make friends for life, so even my ex-wives are still friends(well, not the last one, she's been having memory problems). I intend to live another 40 years and it seems a shame to spend that time alone. I like all forms of music and currently listen to soft jazz and country. I know this reads like I want a booty call, but believe me, I'm not going to sleep with anyone crazier than myself (Murphy's advice). Friends first is okay with me, because I'm not weird and if you are, I'll start running. You're looking for the emotional side first, then maybe the physical. I've stated what I'm looking for, nothing more and nothing less. I want an activity partner and maybe a life mate. I want mutual trust. I want consideration. I've been alone for awhile and that sucks. I'm comfortable with myself and other people, but when I turn off the lights, I feel lonely (DRAT). Sometimes, it would be nice to reach out and touch a friend. Do you know how that feels?

PS I had a stroke in Sept 2008, went to the hospital for 4 days, was released as fully, physically, restored. The mind takes a little longer to heal. My memories were disjointed, and in some cases, absent. On March 31st of 2011, I woke up and thought 'hey, I should call my mom and wish her a happy birthday', that was the first time I knew I had a living mother and brother since the stroke.(my mom passed away 16 days later) Some things take longer than others to surface. I had to read all of the folders in my email account once I remembered I had one. Because of the stroke, my employment oppts dried up and I filed for UI benefits(what a joke), but they took ten weeks of hassling me b4 paying. During that time, in order to eat and pay bills, I took early retirement. I am not financially able to travel anymore. The car died, I moved out of the expensive apt, into dtn Seattle(for the hills to walk it off). The rent is astoundingly cheap(so is social security). So, for the nounce, I don't feel like getting a job, or a car(can still rent Zipcar), or a part time income(maybe get a job, hook up and have fun) 'cause I'm pretty comfortable with life as it is. Of course, this attitude makes me poor dating material, but I'll keep living one day at a time. The best of luck to you in your search for perfection.
PSS Now live in dtn Seattle at Operation Nightwatch, a christian bldg for age 62+ residents, 26 rooms(13 per floor) w/shared kitchen and bath. Rooms are 12 x 12 & 9 ft high, furnished, small fridge included. Coed. No visitors after 11 pm(no joke) as if we are not adults. But the 250 rent is cool. And dinner(and meal-on-wheels) is free if you don't feel like cooking.
