This is going to be MY year... Im positive! I have been patient and am now ready to find "that guy" who makes my heart skip, takes my breath away, allows me to be the independent woman that I am yet still knows I want to be taken care of every now and then too.
I am an outgoing, funny girl (my friends are usually crying from laughing and beg me to stop bc their stomach muscles got a better workout than any personal trainer could have given them), I also have a terrible time not laughing when people fall down (I know thats horrible.I havent found a support group tho for that yet)..
I am not sure what I am hoping to get from this but do know its got to be better than what I've been doing!
I only ask please do me a favor tho, if you are not honest, arent really looking seriously for your best friend and someone to share your life as I am, please do not tell me you are. I have put my personal life on hold until I got my boys raised...and well ... mission accomplished. Its time for me to find someone special that can make me believe miracles and fairytales do exist.
I am also seeking good friends (guys and girls) to go to the movies, mall, road trip ... or anything. I really need to get out and have some fun. I have to do this or I am going to end up to be the "cat lady". LMAO!
I have had more bad luck on this thing and other sites like this and quite frankly it is exactly why I have remained single since 1997. My heart has a small fragment left, but it can be nurtured to a full, committed, incredibly full of fun, insane laughter and "forever" kind of life....if there is a guy out there who knows how to handle a woman like me. I can go from tomboyish ("mudding", rodeo, playing sports etc) to the "little" black dress kind of girl. Most comfortable in a baseball hat with my hair pulled thru the back, a tshirt and shorts on the weekends.
I am not the type to "lay" you on the first date, I dont want to bed hop nor do I want a bed hopper - I believe with that if emotions are there for my partner and myself, the sex is much more amazing than a nasty, last call kind of date that leaves you wondering where the hell you are the next morning and who the hell is THAT or "what was I thinking and why didnt my friends stop me!". A good friend will post your bail but a best friend will be sitting with you in jail saying "damn that was fun!!!"
I am very open to making friends as mine are married or have moved away from this terrible little town and I find myself feeling like I am the last of the singles in my generation.
I am very outgoing, crazy, funny and up for just about anything. I am not a "planner" (although am capable of making a date a few days away and remembering LOL). I am ready to go at a moments notice without an actual "plan"... or snuggling up to my guy to watch football (yes I said it ... OU and Bronos... I know, I know. I am a girl ... blah blah) or a great movie.
So, now that I have scared 2/3rds of my potentials away....are you the one who can make me laugh, feel wanted, needed, yet allow me to be me? Take a chance. I am.
