About me?
My name is John and I have a lot of interests and have achieved a lot in my life so feel free to ask. I'm exceptionally unique, can't fit a millionth about who I am on here, have that much to share; I've written a book, make music occasionally among other things. I work with clients from around the country and I also am sacrificing a lot of life's pleasures to build my own business which once running will free up a lot of my time for, well life. It requires a lot of self-discipline as I work every day unless I hang out with a friend (I make the time for good people). If you can be respectful of that then we're off to a good start.
What am I looking for?
Friends who I can relax and occasionally get in to trouble with, it's hard to find people who will remain loyal through thick and thin though. It really helps if someone has some mutual interests. I'm always open to learning and trying new things. I have lots of awesome interests myself which the right kind of person would find a complete gold mine. I appreciate creativity and intelligence of all kinds. Moderation in attention, not someone distant who talks once a year and not someone calling twenty times day. Someone who is assertive and knows what they want are big pluses. I don't like adults who act childish or are full of themselves. Circumstances are people you can't yet afford to move three states away from however issues aren't and I'm not looking to deal with anyone's issues. Also if you listen to rap please look elsewhere. So if you're awesome in your own way we should talk.
When we talk...
If you can't be bothered to sign your letter with your name I'm going to call you Bob. I enjoy conversation and am the type who enjoys listening and talking until the sun rises. I'm always thinking about a lot of things so if you want me to acknowledge something you're really going to have to be verbal with me. I may be strict about myself though I'm very laid back with other people presuming everyone is being respectful. If you're too shy to message me send me a wink and I might message you though keep in mind I can get really busy sometimes.
What I look for in profiles...
1.) 99% of profiles have interests limited to "beach, family and friends" and does not differentiate one person from anyone else. Interests? Hobbies? Books? Exercise while listening to music? Wall-staring contests? The more of an idea I have about your interests the greater the chance I might be able to relate with you.
2.) Pictures that show too much are just as bad as pictures that show too little. In short a respectable full-figure picture shows that you're healthy, thin-to-normal and you're not interested in flings. If you don't have a thin-to-normal build I won't be interested, attraction is important to me.
3.) I like intelligence, ambition, initiative and confidence; strong characteristics and I don't see them in women very often unfortunately. Saying hello and asking me questions shows you care about who I am and are capable of conversation which is the first important thing beyond physical attraction. I usually don't browse profiles though if I do and find someone I like it's because I find them attractive and they share common interests listed on their profile.
4.) I don't care if someone is poor or rich and the right person probably doesn't live close by which I accept as Florida/heat seems to rot people's brains (not everyone's though) and the right person is worth every effort.
Where we'll go and what we'll do...
Mutual interests determine that though a generic example would be getting a bite to eat and a walk in the park during the evening. I'm open to trying new things and I also like to share new things with others.
I'm a busy person who will make time for the right people in my life. I don't have time the browse much however I usually respond within a day in most cases and I'm pretty friendly so long as you're respectful so please feel free to say hello.
