6 Sept 2011 Update: Only here to visit forums- mostly Foodies. I check the forum every few days and post when I feel that I can add substance to a thread, life's too short for idle chatter. Speaking of idle chatter: I almost never look at email, and seldom respond.
Due to a few lifestyle adjustments, I am no longer dating or "available" but thanks for looking.

Fan of the politically incorrect with a shameless love of fowl puns. Unapologetic meat-eater and a better-than-decent cook. Voracious reader, sometimes couch potato, Campfire Teller-of-Tales, Wanna-be Writer, Tin-eared singer, and fan of live (or filmed) theater. Too cynical to believe in Fairy-tale Romances, Soul-mates, or Happy Endings. I've been told I have a twisted sense of humor.
Few real passions anymore, mostly preferences. I try to do what I enjoy, and take my time doing it, and attempt to avoid the terminally stupid. I'm not particularly religious, tend towards the right of center about most things and left about others. I see politics as a Spectator Sport, amusing to watch, but I don't want to get my hands dirtied in that particular vat of muck.
Being in the "SEPARATED" category puts me at a distinct dating disadvantage... and I understand and appreciate others feelings about it, but don't feel right or honest about selecting any of the other options available.
However, separated does not mean dead (although the Reaper has come close a few times), so I am looking for a bit of company, some companionship and conversation, someone to hang out and have coffee with, maybe do a little fishing, see a movie, hit a jazz club for some Tonic & Lime, take a ride on the motorcycle for a picnic or just to nowhere in particular.
