I'm looking for someone who enjoys travel, travel, travel. Must love food, wine, art, theatre and more travel... I love the country but would describe myself as more of a city girl. Sense of humor a must. Intelligence is very sexy. Someone comfortable relaxing at home or dining out in a 5 star restaurant. Someone who loves conversation but is equally comfortable just "being".
A gentlemen...still opens doors, pulls out chairs, takes a woman's arm to cross a street. Loves city life but also enjoys weekends in the country. I'm willing to try most things once and look forward to sharing many adventures. I love sun, sand and little drinks with umbrellas. I also love snowy Christmas's with all the trimmings. Mystery is intriguing...make me read the entire novel; don't ruin the surprise by telling me the ending. Want to learn to scuba...can you teach me?
Since I mentioned my likes I should mention a few dislikes...facial hair (sorry!), elitism, egocentrism, racism, in fact most of the "isms", sweatpants, and won't ask for directions when lost!
I'm looking for passion in all things...not just sexual. I want to share the things that you love, as well as be introduced to new things. I also want to share new experiences together, maybe help each other discover things about ourselves we wouldn't otherwise know.
I need you to know who you are and where you want to go. I don't want to be "led" around but I do like a man who can take charge when appropriate and equally important...is comfortable with a woman who on occasion may also want to be "in charge". I wouldn't describe myself as stubborn...but I do know my mind...lol.
I have to admit that I much prefer going to a concert, the theater (anything from drama to comedy), museums, galleries, or a great restaurant to sitting on hard bleachers at a football game...sorry sports nuts! It's fine with me if you go tho'...I'll just go shopping!
A word about my ex...I am not a bitter divorcee. In fact, I'm anything but. He's the most loving man I know...much as we tried; we couldn't make it work. In the end the most loving thing we could do for each other was to let each other go. So...no bitter divorce baggage here.
A small request...if you think you might like to "wink" me...I'm guessing it's partially because you saw my photo; please do me the favor of also including your photo. And seriously...NO facial hair...ok, maybe a tiny bit but beards are a serious turn-off for me. I much prefer kissing soft, naked lips...just can't deal with the prickly tickle. Oh yeah...while I don't like facial hair, a thick head of hair is a must. Sorry but I just want to be upfront about it. Also...just a little suggestion guys: while I LOVE seeing photos of your dog, your home, your car/bike, your trips...the photos of you should be clear; not standing in the shadows! Maybe more than one? Maybe your dog/car/home/trips AND you? Lol!
OK...new pet peeve:
Why do people think it's ok to put photos in their profiles that are 10 years old, or their little brother's or I don't know...maybe the neighbor; but they are definitely not photos of themselves. I'm not ALL about physical appearance but if we are honest it is probably what makes us stop and read the profiles? Sorry...venting I guess. Hope your photos are recent; mine are,
