Before you write me off because of my age, if you are at all interested, please read on! 
I'm a first year student at Oregon State University. I joined this site because I'm looking to meet quality people (I'm not sure if this site has been beneficial in that aspect but it's been an experience so far)! As you may know, the first couple of years of college tend to be pretty wild. I am not into that whole "party" scene. I am a pretty mellow person, and have had a difficult time meeting people who are "up to par". With that said, I'm not like, super conservative and I definitely enjoy going out and having a good time every once in a while.
Still interested? Okay, here's some more- After I get my bachelor's degree in pre-therapy and allied health, I plan on going to a nursing school and eventually getting a masters degree in nursing. I am very ambitious and have high standards for myself. I come from a successful, well-rounded family who has always said that "failure is not an option". I have done a lot to work towards my career goal thus far, and even continue to progress. I am thrilled to say that I have been employed at Salem Hospital (in a clerical position) for about a year now.
If you are still reading, I am thoroughly impressed. I most certainly would not read such a lengthy "About Me" section. Just a quick tid bit and then I'll shut up- Some of my interests include; volunteering at the hospital (no seriously, I like it...), playing outside, fishing, attempting to cook, reading, and having deep meaningful conversations. Above all, you should know that my family is the most important thing in my life. I spend a lot of time with them and we are pretty closely knit. I would never date someone that they didn't approve of. With that said, they are very easy going and have yet to dislike any of my boyfriends. So don't be scared If you haven't guessed thus far, I am not looking to "hook up". I want someone that I can relate to, care about, and spend good quality time with.
