I feel in merely listing things that describe my personality, the essence of who we are in a greater sense can be easily overlooked. Providing a list, someone may briefly scan it, and come to the conclusion that's that is exactly who I am, and if it doesn't co-exist with their list, then there is no value in persuing a relationship of any kind, whether it be a friendship or intimate. This is not my intention, nor my goal, to limit myself by submitting to you labels that don't even beginning to scratch or shed light upon our true nature.
What am I engaged in currently? I'm a full time psychology student, right now focusing on Interpersonal Effectiveness, learning how to stabilize and establish meaningful communication. I seek out matter of truth wherever they may be found, there is no religion, no news source, no mysterious experience that that I will not explore to understand reality and the wonders of life. Knowledge is important, but so is imagination, and the evolution of ideas. I have been learning to play the guitar for the past 10months, but have not had as much time to practice as I wish to have as of late.
I seek self-illumination through meditation and peace of mind, and am really interested in sharing this and exploring it with others. More can be accomplished through shared experiences, there is more to learn and teach.
I exercise typically 6 days a week, and perform yoga at least 4-5 days a week. I am in much better shape than I was two years ago, and it has been a wonderful adventure exploring and pushing the self-imposed limits we put on ourselves, not only physically, but mentally, and spiritually.
I love being engaged in deep conversations. Listening is equally as important if not more important than being able to speak. I put much significance on listening intently and to be actively engaged in conversations.
Perhaps in the future, more will come to mind to share, but for now, this will surely suffice.
