Well hello there! My name is Amanda and if you get to know me maybe I'll let you know my nick name 
I am not looking to date someone for their money or their car. I am looking for romantic love and chivalry. Little gestures go a long way with me, because everyone overlooks the little things. Kissing my hand is impossibly endearing, I both love and hate fresh flowers-it's sweet to get them, but then I am sad when they die. Perception will be noticed-believe me, I notice when we go on a date and you happen to remember that I love raspberry iced tea the next time we see each other, or that my favorite candy bar is a milky way midnight. Grand sweeping gestures are also appreciated, but sometimes it is the little things that mean the most.
If you are the kind of guy who expects me to spend three hours in front of the mirror to impress you then you might as well stop reading now. I am a tomboy through and through. This means two things-I am NOT afraid to get dirty, and I am not high maintenance! I want you to love me for who I am, not for how many pounds of goop I can slather onto my face... 
I am pretty shy, once I open up to you, you will have a companion for life. I love horses, wolves, and archery. I love rock music, and even some techno. I like everything from Incubus to Disturbed to Five Finger Death Punch. I cannot stand rap.
My aspirations are simple-A lot of land with a stream, and a horse. Nothing makes me more envious than watching people with horses. Motorcycles, quads, snowmobiles...I wish I owned every single one! I love mountains, lakes, streams, nature in general. I love the color blue and sparkly things. Canoeing is something I enjoy a lot, and I want to be outdoors as much as possible. I play video games, I suck at shooters, I'm more of the Zelda/Oblivion type I don't drive but I want to learn how, my ideal car would be a Jeep or some kind of Chevy I am Irish German and I am proud of my heritage. Yes, hearing bagpipe music will almost always reduce me to tears.
Chivalry is very important to me. I will certainly blush if you hold a door open for me. Love and loyalty are ideals I hold in high esteem-if you treat me with respect, I will treat you the same way, and probably return your love tenfold.
I automatically love anyone in our Nation's Armed Forces.
I am a sucker for blue eyes I want someone who will play video games with me one day, then teach me how to fish the next. I want a guy who will do anything to keep a smile on my face. Is it too much to ask for someone who smiles every time that they see me?
I have also learned over the years that the most attractive feature in a man, to me, is the voice. It is the one thing that you can't easily change about yourself. Anyone can lose weight, gain muscle, dye their hair...but your voice always remains the same.
I felt the need to throw this in here since I just arrived; I am attending SUNY Plattsburgh as an Ecology Major and I am super excited to be here! Working on my Bachelors, if I like it enough I may get my masters up here. I miss my family, and can't wait to go back to glens falls every weekend I can.
