About Me
I continue to ask myself, "Why do I keep coming back to this?" and it is the empty silence that answers my question: "You are alone. Yes, you have many friends who treat you well. Yes, you have fun. Yes, you are outgoing and entertaining even to yourself. But, you don't have someone to fill that void that stands hazily next to you. You pretend to ignore the fact that you are lonely. You pretend that you are independent enough to not have someone in your life. But a haze cannot wipe away the tears; it can't give you a hug when you need one; it cannot laugh with you; it can't comfort you. That is why you continue to return to this. You want these things. But don't get so caught up in finding someone that it engulfs your being. For it is then that you know it is not a man you need to find but rather yourself." Upon hearing this echo through the empty abyss, repeating over and over the words I know to be true, I cry for the silence knows me far too well. (I'm a writer....what can I say?)

I'm loud and outgoing. I stand up for what I believe in. Theatre is my life; acting, dancing, singing, you name it I love it.

I openly admit to the fact that I'm a nonsensical dork. I like joking around. But, at the same time, I know when to be serious. In fact, I love having long intellectual conversations with people.

I'm a hopeless romantic though I will admit I'm old-fashioned. It's been an observation of mine that when in a relationship I give too much of myself. This proves problematic for me because I'm always the one that gets hurt.

I'm very lovey-dovey/touchy-feely. I love physical contact of any kind. It makes me feel more connected with that person. It could be anything, a slight brush of the hand, a tap on the shoulder...anything. As for "lovey-dovey", I have this thing...I call people (whether they're friends or not) "love" or "hun" or "dear" or "sweetheart" or "cutie pie" (etc.)....I've tried to break that habit but its harder than it seems.

I love the Lord. I have my moments, as all sheep do, when I stray from the path but I am his.

I love school as I'm studying theatre and psychology. I'm working on my PhD. My passion in life is Autism Awareness. I help families fight for their children's rights with schools. This is the field of work I intend on molding my future career from.

Though I love cooking and trying new foods, it has been brought to my attention just recently that I am unable to properly eat certain foods. I find it rather embarrassing, but its one of my quirks. Can't help that now can I?

On occasion I like to draw and do photography. I'm not all that great but I enjoy it. I hope to get into painting at some point in my life.

Music is a great portion of my life. Though it is not as great a part as say theatre but it does play an important role. I read music. I don't really play an instrument but give me sheet music and a piano and I'll have it figured out in an hour or so. I once played the flute ("once" meaning I don't anymore), I am teaching myself how to play guitar and piano. I do, however, play the bells. I have been in the same bell choir now for nearly 10 years. Also, I like to sing (as noted above).

I love nature and what it has to offer. Being out doors makes me happy whether I'm hiking, biking, swimming, rowing, target shooting, etc. This includes traveling. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to travel much in my life thus far.

I'm an animal lover. Ever since I can remember we have had at least two pets at all times. My family at the moment has far too many of them. Four or five cats and three dogs, and by "three dogs" I mean a german shepherd, a boarder collie, and a goat who thinks she's a dog.

I'm a horrid speller. I admit it. There are at least ten mistakes on this profile. Just a heads up.

Though I'm not completely proud of it, I do like to play games. Board games, card games.....video games....

I'm excited for the zombie apocalypse. Dorky, I know. But holy cow! I can't wait!!!!

I tend to be sarcastic, have a dark and sometimes sexual sense of humor. (I would like to point out that though I may talk sexually, I am unfortunately all talk and no action...sorry). Thankfully for you that only comes out when(after) I've known you for a bit. I make sure I test the waters before I go full throttle.

But, despite all of the above I'm rather a simplistic kind of girl. It's the simple pleasures in life that make me happy. Things such as a smile, a laugh, snow falling, a hug, a slight breeze on my face...and then out of nowhere something completely spontaneous!
