i'm a born and raised jersey girl but I'm ukrainian and italian. Ukrainian was my first language and I still speak it fluently. I'm extremely close with my family and am an aunt to my niece Bella and my nephews Lars and Aiden. No Lars was not named after Lars Ulrich.
I'm a very passionate person and am obsessed with music--mainly blues, soul, jazz, some hip hop, folk, acoustic, rock...my favorite bands and singers are rage against the machine, black keys, beastie boys, sublime, dave matthews, mason jennings, pretty lights, Adele, Duffy, Prince, MJ, Blondie, White Stripes, Raconteurs........I'm open-minded when it comes to music and appreciate passionate raspy singers with amazing lyrics.
I work in NY as a model and have been doing it since college. I'm also a writer/journalist. I usually write my best work when I'm completely bummed out or overjoyed---I find that actually I write better when I'm overjoyed....
I have false hope of being a singer/songwriter but can barely hold my fingers in any recognizable chord on the guitar. I play piano and sing loudly by myself in my room, shower and car or among friends when I've had a few drinks and the music is blaring. So I just stick to private concerts for myself.
My friends would describe me as a class clown...I'm always the one to make an absurd, sarcastic comment and I do it in a very unassuming way.
I wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm sometimes quiet at first but in time you'll know who I am and I don't hold back.
