So about me... My name is Marc and I have been in NJ for about 13 years now. Born and raised in California, I still consider myself Californian. I'm 29, Caucasian and Jewish, but I don't practice too much.. I don't do drugs or smoke, but drink once in a while. I am a bit of a home body but do occasionally go out to do things like see a move, shoot some pool, bowl etc. I am told that I can come off like a smart-ass to people who don't know me and am pretty bad at first impressions but do my best to make up for it with the second one  I do not believe that chivalry is a dead art and I consider myself a romantic type. I like to take things slow and get to know someone before it leads elsewhere.
I am a gamer and spend a lot of my free time playing video games on various consoles and online on the computer. I enjoy movies and various TV programming, usually law or sci-fi/fantasy type stuff. I want to eventually become a fantasy fiction novelist and am currently working on my own unique series. I also write fan-fic's occasionally. I like to read, though rarely find time for it. I like animals but currently have no pets. I like to have long, in-depth conversations about whatever and love to argue a good point. Communication is key in relationships and even in some friendships. I am good listener and am usually asked for advice by friends and family.
I have been in retail, sales and management, as well as technical jobs which is what I have been most recently doing. I am having a bit of an issue with my most recent employer; for details, you will just have to ask me.  I am going back to school soon so wish me luck!
I am looking for friends and that special someone. Hopefully this site will help me find what I am looking for. You can never have enough friends. As for that special someone, I am looking for someone that compliments who I am; share some interests but still brings new things to the table.
