Hi there! First of all . . I HATE talking about myself! But if I must . . . I would describe myself as a little shy when first meeting new people, but once I get to know you . . . look out! I am a very outgoing, friendly person who is passionate and fiercely loyal when it comes to my family and friends. I enjoy my work, but prefer time spent with loved ones. I have many interests and enjoy just about any activities as long as they are done with friends (yes, even watching the Superbowl, even football in general . . . as long as it's a Saints game!). I have always been active in the community and spend a lot of time participating in various civic and school activities and fundraising events. I have one very sweet dog, about 5 years old . . .Heinz 57 mix, who I adore, named Lulu. She is my only child. Sadly, never had any human ones, LOL!!
I guess I am looking for someone who is a "people person" like me, but who also enjoys alone time with just the two of us. Someone who is loyal, loving, funny, fun to be around, faithful, NOT jealous  . . . I think we all have little twinges of jealousy from time to time . . . that's human nature . . . but my partner must be able to trust me. If there is no trust in the relationship, there is no relationship, and that goes two ways. Preferably, he would be as comfortable at a "black tie" event (though those are pretty rare these days!!) as he is barbecuing on the deck in the back yard. Most of all, he must love to hold hands, be affectionate, give and receive massages, enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as his, and be as supportive of me as I am of him.
With the unexpected death of my fiance about four years ago, I have realized the importance of having someone who is as committed to taking care of me, as I am to taking care of him. We're not getting any younger. It is hard to know what we might face in the future. I just know that I want to find my best friend to share the good and the bad, who will not bolt at this first sign of challenges. So, drop me a note, and perhaps we can chat sometime on here.
UPDATE: I moved at the end of October 2015 to Pine, LA (between Franklinton and Bogalusa). I still go back to the city (New Orleans area) fairly often for some contract jobs, and to see family and friends . . . . but I am now "officially"a country girl!! Loving it so far!!
