I'm a single mom of a 12 year old boy and a six month old Borador; they mean everything to me... Even if I were to meet Prince Charming, he'd always come second to my kids; I don't really want to be with a guy who's self esteem is so low he can't understand that.
I can be a bit quiet, 'til I get to know you, but once we know each other and I trust you, I'm an open book. As far as what I'm looking for in a relationship... I'm not into one night stands, and right now, I'm not looking for sex. Friends first, please; get to know me and I'll get to know you. If we're compatible enough, then perhaps later, sex will be part of the picture.
Sexually, I find myself most compatible with bisexual men, because I'm genderfluid, and I would go so far as to say that I will not date a straight man, nor one that's a possessive or aggressive top or too much of a dominant guy. I ask for respect and give it in return. I'd prefer to 'date' a man close by to where I live; travel on a single mom's budget is out of the question.
Intellectually... I prefer those that can type in full sentences... You're not a tween, and even if you were texting me, I'd appreciate at least an attempt at spelling your words correctly. If you consistently use 'u' and 'r' and 'c' and '2' to replace real words when messaging me, I'm liable to lose interest pretty quickly. Mistakes in punctuation and spelling are one thing; those I can understand. But attempting to sound like you're twelve is another.
I hate politics; for the most part I dislike discussing religion. I've got so much going on in my own little world that its hard to keep up with the gossip on the block I live in, much less the gossip of the whole world. Please don't treat me like being 'ignorant' of things I have little interest in means I'm stupid; choosing ignorance for my own sanity and stupidity are two different things, haha.
On a related note - if you want to talk to me, talk to me. Don't send me a bunch of winks and expect that those winks actually amount to getting to know each other. Talk to me! I don't bite... Usually.
