Let's see. I'm quite a complex and deep thinking person. I've been through a lot, and have done a lot of amazing things for only being alive 45 years. I have two children that do not live with me. They are 15 & 22 years old. I've been married once (and divorced quite soon after....not a good match for sure). In 1987 I went on the State of Maine ship out of Castine, and went to The Virgin Islands, Bermuda, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and W. Virginia. I was in the Air Force in 1986, just long enough to fracture my ankles and get an honorable medical discharge.
I love to try new things. Usually that means food, or something relatively safe. If it's not safe, it's probably on my bucket list. I have "unconventional" looks, which means that someone that takes the time to know me on the inside will find they like me quite a lot. I love watching movies, and I write movie reviews for a website (no pay, but free movies are always worth it!). Horror films are my favorite genre, but I own a lot of other types of films as well. I've been a music lover since birth (so says my family), and I've always had a huge collection of music. I'm an only child, so I have big collections of a few things. I've found that is quite common with us solo children. I love classic rock, Hard Rock, Metal. Almost anything but rap, and VERY little country music. I've played in bands, and still own a bass guitar, so I might do it again someday, if there is enough fun involved. I like sports (wow right?), and follow the Red Sox, Steelers, Bruins & Celtics.
I'm looking for a woman who would have similar tastes, and once in a while like to try new things, and venture on the wild side just a little bit. I'm looking for a relationship at some point, although my past relationships have gone badly. I believe the problem was moving in together. The honeymoon period vanishes into thin air in a heartbeat after the moving in is done. So I've decided to try and meet a woman right here in Bangor that has her own place. I have my own place, and we could have a committed relationship together, with our own spaces to go to when we want to. This is how I would feel most comfortable, and if I met the right woman, she would understand, and be happy, no matter what happened later on. If this sounds too strange for you, so be it. If it sounds like it could be interesting, we might meet sometime!
