Hi! My name is Kosta, I'm 25 years old, and am a laid back, down to earth kind of guy(find me on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/greekinese). I enjoy playing guitar and writing music though my skill with the latter is a bit weak currently. I've always enjoyed listening to music, as many people do, but I never took time to develop a deeper perspective on music until I took a Music Appreciation class at the college I currently attend--the University of South Carolina at Upstate(USCU).
I enjoy my classes and am majoring in Elementary Education with add-on LD certificate. Hopefully, after receiving my Bachelors and taking time to get a few years(or more) experience teaching, I want to go back for my Masters. Currently, USCU offers a new Masters program called Special Education: Visual Impairment which has caught my eye(no pun intended).
Speaking of eye-catching, and I don't like much to 'blow my own horn' so to speak, but I think one thing that make me stand out from others the most is that I'm half Japanese and half Greek. Yes, the name is Greek but what a crazy concoction that is. Like a mixed drink that's heavy on the liquor but light on the soda/water. That being said, I'd like to point out my dry and sarcastic sense of humor--assuming you haven't noticed already.  I like to make others laugh and meet new people but in a strange irony, I'm sometimes not the most outgoing person. Regardless, my friends come to me for advice quite a bit because I have good listening skills and often can solve whatever dilemma they happen to be dealing with.
Since we're on the topic of listening skills, I might as well touch on my taste in music a bit. I listen to pretty much anything though I do place less emphasis on finding music in the country/western and rap genres.
