I am happy with my life, but I am looking to share it with another. I have had a full life and one thing I have learned is not to take myself or others too seriously and that laughter is a necessity in my life. I am not looking to get married right NOW, but I might want to in the future, it is hard to say til you find that adventurous someone to kiss for the rest of our lives. I am looking forward to investing in another while they invest in me. I am looking for a final serious relationship.
I am honest, independent, and not high maintenance so if you are one of the men that need "high maintenance" I am not the one for you. I am an every day type person with every day wants and needs. But, I do have a bit of an imp in me that when it appears can cause mischief ;o) for the right man. Family is important to me and should be to you. I have 3 children and wouldn't mind adding yours with mine. I also have 4 grandsons that are my joy I am willing to share and add any more grandchildren you might have to add to our family. Currently I am helping during the week with 3 of my grandsons.
After my 1996 divorce I retired to finish raising my 3 children on a budget. I like to cook (you need to like to eat), read, explore, entertain, theatre, kissing, cuddling and shared laughter, travel, sci-fi, sensuous times, a good bonfire, holding hands, spur of the moment road trips or planned ones, the moon, working at home, people in general, like playing cards, cribbage, board games. and bbq outside. BUT camping must involve 4 solid walls and a flush toilet or it doesn't involve me. I love a bon fire and marshmallows. I need a communicator, meaning if your one of these that believe the new "man" hype of contact every 3 days - well - know that doesn't work for me.
I am looking for a mate that wants to take me with, do things with me and be there with me on holidays and other occasions i.e. grand kids things, family dinners, and you know being/doing together. Putting each other first then adding others. I need someone that likes being touched and likes touching. You should be weight and height appropriate as I am also. I love laughter but not at the expense of others. I am ready to be the best friend and first in my 'other's' life and he in mine.
If you have children under the age of 18 that is great for you, but doesn't work for me. I have raised my children and am ready for life's last boyfriend and myself in the home full time.
Health these could be a deal breakers: I am diabetic Type 1 so you should have some knowledge or willingness to learn about diabetes to be with me. I have dentures due to an accident when I was 16 and the teeth suffered. Because of my diabetes in April 2004 - I had a high bred WLS that was totally successful. I think it is better to know this up front. None of it stops me from doing anything that I want to do. Oh but if you Smoke or do recreational drugs - that DOES NOT work for me at all. Social drinking is fine. DDF is also very important.
Writing and sharing information is good, Pictures are fine (no picture will get no response from me), I have one here you should too but I think there is nothing like seeing a person - chemistry is important even at our age. I grew up in Minnetonka AND on my grandparent’s farm around the Alexandria Area, so down to earth fits me. But ALL is in the eye of the beholder. I feel as at home in jeans but can dress up nice. There is allot more but this is a start the rest we can enjoy finding out together.
