About Me

I will do just about anything for a good laugh! I love when I meet people that can take my jokes, and dish their own back without being offended or worry about offending me, because you probably can't offend me! I usually have a good idea of when it's time to be serious and to put humor aside.

I am very honest, and if possible I will be tact in my honesty although on occasion offense has been taken from my words. If you get offended by anything I say, take a deep breath and get the hell over it, because more than likely it was a joke (I admit, my humor can get a little dark at times)!

Reading is a big part of my life. I always have and always will LOVE to read books, all kinds of books! I have literally read every genre possible, from romance, to mystery, to sci-fi. There is a special spot in my heart for sci-fi and fantasy, especially the ORIGINAL Star Wars Trilogy! My favorite book series has to be the "Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R. R. Martin. If you aren't familiar with it, check out the HBO series "Game of Thrones"!

I am a guy, so of course I do play videogames. I do prefer to play more social games with people that I know, or even go out with friends instead of staying in. I love videogames, but as I've gotten older it has slipped lower and lower on my priority list.

Music......I guess I just love it all. A few of my favorite bands include Avenged Sevenfold, NOFX, Taylor Swift (guilty pleasure!), Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Oasis, The Cranberries, Eminem, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine, etc etc etc. I can get in to practically any kind of music. Make sure to let me know if you like any of them and what you do like concerning music, I am always looking to broaden my understanding of music!

I enjoy fishing, but deer and grouse hunting are my favorite outdoor activities. I am a damn good shot, and I hope you don't confuse my confidence and pride with arrogance. Next hunting season, maybe you and I could spend a day in a stand and knock a few beers back. Yep, I drink. Nope, I am not an alcoholic. Once or twice a week I will go out, or get a 12 pack and bring it to a buddies or my place. If you don't drink, kudos to you, but I am a grown man and a surefire way to irritate me is to try and tell me what I can and can't do.

I think that I should have started here, but I am 21 years old and am in the National Guard. I recently got back from my first tour overseas, and I came to this site to try and meet new people. I couldn't even tell you if I am filling this section out as its intended to be haha! I have discovered a lot about myself over my time gone, and I am going to start going to school in the spring semester (come on, I needed at least one semester off, and summer doesn't count!) I have basically no idea what I want to do. For now, I just want to take it one step at a time and live life to the fullest!

What am I looking for in a woman??? Most importantly, she needs to be an understanding person, somebody who can put the shoe on the other foot. I consider myself to be very empathetic and caring, and I would expect no less from my friends, my girl, or my family. 100% honesty is of course required. I don't like being lied to, and once that trust is broken it takes a long time for me to build it back up.

A great woman for me would have to love going on spontaneous car rides, because there isn't much that I enjoy more than leaving town without a thought of where I am going to end up. (Don't worry, I always make it home the same day

) As long as you are an overall good person, who genuinely cares and tries to make me happy, you can bet I will return the favor. Nothing lifts the spirits more than making someone else happy!
