About Me

Writing this profile on myself is turning out to be one of the hardest things I've done lately. I couldn't possibly sum up who I am in a few paragraphs. So here are a few bits and pieces. I guess if you want to know more you'll have to get to know me. I'm sure this will be an ever-changing profile.

I recently started learning how to play the piano and I'm finding that I really like it and wish I would have started sooner. Isn't that always the case when you find something your passionate about. I like almost all styles of music but I guess my favorites are Pop and Classic Rock. I've met a lot of great people and talented musicians lately. I go see them perform from time to time in small local clubs, sometimes larger venues, but mostly small clubs. Hey, there's an idea for a date. (I'll probably blurt things out as I ramble on) I don't like going to clubs that are so loud that you can't carry a conversation. That's not fun for me. Oh, (blurting) I do drink sometimes. I don't get "falling on my face" drunk though. Sorry, I know you were hoping for a guy that gets drunk every weekend but that's not me. O.k. enough of my music and drunkeness.

I just went camping for the weekend and I took my yellow lab with me. This was his first time camping and the weather turned real cold at night. (he was shaking) The highlight was me putting my jacket on him, I had to roll up the sleeves, but surprisingly it fit him well. He slept like a baby all night. I should have taken pictures.

I've always been an outdoors kind of person. I've done rafting trips in Wisconsin and Colorado. There is absolutely nothing in the world like having a cup of coffee on a quiet, crisp, early morning watching the sunrise in the Rocky Mountains. It really doesn't get any better than that. I've done some backpacking trips out there also. I'm not a hunter but I like to fish. Just taking a hike or walking through some of the local parks makes me happy. I guess I can sum it up by saying that I'm kind of a nature person. You know that type of guy.

So, lets see... I'm trying to think of things I'm passionate about. O.k., this ones probably a little out there but, I absolutely love kissing. I'm not going to even try to explain it on here. (I'm not sure if I could explain it) There's just something about it and I'm like a teenager when it comes to that. That's all I'm going to say about this. Umm, other things I'm passionate about... this is really hard... I guess I could list a bunch of things that I like to do, but honestly, I don't think that it matters that much if two people have everything in common. I think you must have some commonalities that you would want to do with me, but I don't think you have to like everything I do. So on that note I like camping, movies, dinner, staying home for a quiet evening etc...etc...

I think this is the ultimate key to the whole thing. If you can answer this question then you have the answer that you've been looking for. O.k. here goes... Who am I describing? Has a sense of humor, relaxed, easy-going, hopeless romantic. And the answer is... I'm describing me. But, if I'm also describing you then we're a perfect match.

I have coffee every morning and I eat everyday. How about you? Let's do it together soon. Why not?

Update! : I'm updating my profile to try to eliminate unwanted messages. I've been bombarded by all sorts of "crazy". First, I don't care how hot you think you are, if you write me a message and you "tak lik diz" or "how bout u", I'm just not going to consider you to have any real intelligence. There is a certain etiquette to writing a message for the first time. If you don't know what I mean, don't message me. Two, If all you have is a pretty face with no ambition in life, I'm just going to consider you someone who's lost. Three, I'm only looking to meet uplifting, "happy" people. Four, you must answer this question in the first couple of sentences of your message or I won't read it. What is two plus two? The reason I want an answer to that is if you don't take the two or three minutes to read my profile why would I want to respond back? I get messages like "ur cute". That's nice, and thank you for the compliment, but there is more to me than that and if you don't want to take the time to know that, well, good luck and please move on. My hope is to eliminate the unwanted messages. If I've insulted anyone, I apologize, that was not my intention. I've actually missed good messages because of all the "junk".
