Hi, my name is Cody.
I just recently moved to Louisville, KY (12/12/14) due to a transition with my career. I gravitate towards the arts like symphonies and theatrically performed, as well as general art and architecture. When I lived in Louisiana -(New Orleans) I used to walk around and look at the buildings as well as sit and listen to local street artist play. I love museums, as well as an opportunity to learn something new.
I would describe myself as a High Brow, someone who pays close attention to detail, and is resourceful. I'd say I'm more resorceful than I am smart but most people who have spent time around me will tell you otherwise. I have a 121 IQ and an INTJ personality. I also am an Aquarius.
I used to drink and be social but I've somewhat evolved into a hermit (Sort of like the Phantom of the Phantom of the Opera) and I spend most my time studying topics that peek my interest and stay up on worldly events. I am a Broncos and Wildcats fan, and enjoy sports like mma, olympic lifting, wrestling (like the greek wrestling), rugby and ofc football (with pads).
What I’m doing with my life
I am a Drafter/Designer and have worked on contracts with companies like Valero, ExxonMobil and other companies that interact within the oil and gas industry. I'm mostly disciplined in the Mechanical/Structural/Piping aspects of the field. For now I am a contractor for Addeco, working for Dant Clayton LLC as a Structural Designer. Dant Clayton is in Stadium/Bleacher business. I'm hoping to continue my experience in this career path and finish my Mechanical Engineering Degree.
I used to be a huge health enthusiast studying nutritional data, diagrams, charts, and studies for exercises and how they effect your body. This year I'm hoping to get back into that cycle.

Most people take me for someone who is older, due to the way I talk - I've experienced alot of life in a short amount of time.
I tend to have weird but accurate perspectives.
When I lived in Louisiana people used to think I held an accent. Now that I live up north I'm sure this will not hold

As far as music goes I like most music but specifically I fluctuate between classical, and rock(most all types of rock)
I've watched alot of films... from foreign films to bad action movies (like kung fu series). Generally I like Sci Fi's, Fantasy adventures, mysteries and suspense. Any mixture of the above
Food: I'll try almost anything once, except people. Never sure where they've been. (I also like to cook and I love baking new things)
TV Shows: Netflix Explorer, and a walking dead fan. I never watched tv shows until recently when I decided to not be a stick about the things. Discovered I was missing out on alot. Orange is the new black, Mad men, Sons of Anarchy, Archer, Breaking Bad, Wilfred are some favorites. 30 rock, parks and recreations, and the office are great ofc. Very sad better off ted was only two seasons. And random episodes of futurama, always sunny, and idk what else. The only tv show i was into, back in highschool, was nip/tuck. Was the only show i actually tuned in to see the new episode up to the finale. Definitely a favorite.
The six things I could never do without
Sleep would be #1. I love to sleep in and get as much as I can.
Secondly would be my car that allows me to travel.
Third would be music which encompasses my life. I associate most all things in life with music.
My phone (which I use quite often to research things, make appointments and communicate with people in my life)
Water, because I think soda is aweful (not that I dont partake every now and again but its very rare)
