2017: I'm still here, available and still learning my way around.
2015 UPDATE: I just moved to Florida at the beginning of this year. Happy New Year to me! 
After serving my 4-year hitch in the Air Force, I got a job as a computer programmer and I didn't even know what a programmer did, but wound up doing that as my profession until I retired in July, 2013.
I started riding a motorcycle again since moving to NC in 2007 from Pennsylvania and have ridden to the mountains and Outer Banks, & also TN, VA & GA.
A cat owns me and we both enjoy the bird feeders by the patio... .
Reading novels, particularly thrillers, and doing crossword & sudoku puzzles are some things I enjoy doing to relax. Philly's baseball, ice hockey & football teams keep me interested in sports. Rap music? YES!! Ah, just kidding about that; only seeing if you're paying attention. My musical choices for listening are classic rock & oldies mostly but, occasionally, classical. I'm not much of a dancer though; I usually have to be dragged on to the floor.
I consider myself to be mild-mannered and easygoing but, inexplicably, lacking a sense of humor. I originally chose brown as my hair color on the profile choices, but when I asked the lady who cut my hair what color it was, she replied "salt & pepper". I think she's color-blind.
