I am a hard working professional and devoted single mom, I have full custody over my daughter and place her first and foremost in my priorities. I work in Communications and fundraising for a political non profit so have to work and travel quite a bit. I love my job and enjoy every single moment of it. I am a professional communicator and community activist at heart. I only dedicate time, energy, and effort to issues I believe in and am passionate about; I have dedicated 10 years of my life to issues that directly impact the social, economic, political, and civil rights of my community so am looking for someone that has a clear vision in life and strong sense of self.
I like knowing a little of everything and learning new concepts, theories, and interesting facts. I pride myself in being a weird combination of research nerd, political junkie, social butterfly, community activist, fashionista, and comedian  . I am extremely ambitious, my mind is always working, if I am not talking I am strategizing.

Physical attraction is the foundation of any deep connection but substance is a must, beauty with no brains is like a car with no engine, great to look at but nothing there. I am quite a force to be reckoned with - life has taught me lessons that have afforded me a more comprehensive understanding of various aspects of life, lessons that have made me bolder, wiser, stronger, refined and sharper. I am witty yet compassionate, I speak my mind but yet aware of my surroundings, I am honest yet tactful. What you see and hear is what you get. By the way, I am a pretty good dancer, I am an intellectual but I am also a Latina with hips and all. Rhythm and music runs through my veins. My parents are both from Mexico, I was born here, grandparents of Cuban descent. I am fluently bilingual in both English and Spanish, I do a lot of on-air Spanish language media interviews so feel extremely confident of my Spanish as a second language abilities.
