My name is Mario and I am a Support Technician for a television network. I work in LA and have normal 8-5 hours Monday through Friday. Being in the IT field is my dream and am continuing my education by taking online course and working towards my CCNA Certification, along with other certs I can obtain along the way.
I am recently divorced, so I understand that-that can be off putting in wanting to contact me. However, getting divorced was the right decision due to our differences and has been a learning experience. That being said, I am not looking for a serious relationship right now but am looking forward into making a friend or two to share similar interests; however if a friendship turns into something greater, then I’m all for it.
I recently got LASIK, which results in me having to wear sunglasses outdoors all the time. Getting LASIK was possibly the best decision of my life though. It's awesome having perfect 20/15 vision. If you've never worn glasses, then you won't understand.
My schedule can be busy and since I commute about 45 minutes to work and back (LA traffic sucks), it can be tough to find free time during the week to do anything enjoyable. On the weekends though, I go out as much as possible and hang out with my friends or go “window shopping.”
I go to the gym every morning at around 4:45am before I have to start getting ready for work and have been doing so for over a year. I have lost a lot of weight that I am very proud of and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. To be honest, it is such an amazing feeling knowing that I am so much stronger than I used to be and can fit into smaller sizes. Finding a gym buddy would be awesome!
I have a loving dog (Australian Kelpie) who I love and take hiking with me and my friends pretty much every weekend. He can be intimidating when he sees someone new, but he’s all bark and no bite. He’s awesome!
I enjoy the outdoors and walking in the wilderness. There aren't too many places to hike around my house, but I love to go regardless, even if it’s the same trail every time just because the views are so nice. I usually go with a bunch of friends and some of them bring their dogs along too. I do like to snowboard, but haven’t gone too many times. I haven’t been since December and haven’t had much time to do so. Besides, I don’t really have anyone to go with and I’d rather not drive to Mt. High alone since the drive there is so boring.
I think I have a pretty good sense of humor. Many things make me laugh, even the little things. If I ever need a pick me up, I'd just go to reddit and look at some random meme. There are plenty of good ones out there.
If you have any of the same interests as I do or want to talk about anything, message me. I am a shy guy, but I do open up if I’m comfortable. This personal trait has benefited me in the fact that I have made really good friends and keep them.
I'm interested in meeting someone who is easy going and is laid back. I'm not a clubber and I don't party, which results in me not drinking either. I used to drink in the past but have stopped due to my diet and wanting to stay healthy. I have my cheat days, but they're limited. I can care less what your age is, as long as you act mature enough. I don't mind if you talk about yourself all day, finding out new things about someone is part of the fun of getting to know them. If you're not too stuck up to make ugly faces and laugh about it, then brownie points for you!
If you're into eating junk food every day, then move along. I like to cook at home and make myself a reasonable meal every once in a while. Going out to eat is fine, but not if they cook with their own fat in every dish.
Be nice, understanding, caring, and wanting to learn new things every day. That's all I ask of you.
