I'm an intelligent, business-minded, 6'-2" 245 lb. long-haired alpha male Biker that loves to ride, ride, ride. But that's not all I'm about, ladies; I have an out-of-leather side too. I even know how to open doors for ladies 
I'm quite the activist and passionate about assisting others in need of help. Among other causes I've taken up over the years have been advocating on behalf of factually innocent people subjected to wrongful imprisonment due to miscarriages of justice (I've done considerable work in this arena), helping collect donations for women & children victims of domestic violence (I have four daughters), and working with various agencies to help collect toys and other donations for needy children. I have been described as the grizzly bear & the teddy bear both in the same package.
Other interests include, but are not limited to: motorcycles, business, music, travel & research.
I much prefer home being a log cabin nestled in the woods than an apartment or condo in the city, although I certainly enjoy some aspects of city night life from time to time.
I'm looking for a long-term committed relationship with a view toward possible marriage. But, I've been burned ... taken to the cleaners literally, so I'm certainly proceeding with due caution.
Beyond rigid honesty, absolute non-negotiable prerequisites for me to consider another long-term, commitment-based relationship are:
1) she has to be intelligent (I haven't the wherewithal to be with someone who can't think past go);
2) I must find her physically attractive (pardon me if that sounds shallow, but what is, is);
3) she must be crazy enough to fall in love with a full throttle guy like me (and that I am, rest assured); and
4) she must be sane enough to be my grounding rod when I need her to be (I do have a wild side - carpe diem)
A plus for me in a woman would be someone who is business minded like myself; someone who is not afraid to venture out into the business world along side me.
I'm currently residing in upstate NY, but am open to relocating if I can find the right woman. Thus, I am scouring this site in various places around the country I'm considering to determine whether or not there is a lady out there that piques my interest enough that I may relocate to her area.
Finally, ladies, should you find my profile sufficiently intriguing to cause for you to communicate with me, there's three other things for me to address before you do:
1) Each and all of us have the proverbial "baggage" from our pasts that we carry with us daily. Indeed we are who we are today because of where we were yesterday. I try my level best to keep mine checked, and I expect that same effort in a woman;
2) Our pasts are our pasts. It matters not to me what is in yours, just as what's in mine should not matter to you. Instead we should be concerned with only what transpires from the time we first meet; and
3) Communication. I'm big on that. Without meaningful & effective communication any relationship is destined to fail.
