I am seeking a lady 40-55. I am a full time father which makes going out and meeting new people very difficult, so here I am. I don't expect perfection from you and hope you don't expect it from me, but I possess a good heart and a decent soul. I have no grand expectations but am open to whatever may happen and ask only that you be also.
A little bit about myself. I am the father of 3 wonderful boys. They are 6, 11 and 13. My 2 oldest sons have Autism which makes every day a challenge, yet brings rewards that far exceed anything else that I have ever known.
I am an artist and have a tendency of getting lost in my own little world for hours when I paint. I specialize mostly in World War II aviation art, but try not to limit myself completely to one subject matter. I play the guitar, or rather, have begun playing again more often. I love history and politics, or anything that is thought provoking. As with everything, I am very passionate by nature. I am very inquisitive and open minded, fascinated by understanding points of view other than my own.
I don’t believe in the whole ‘Mars and Venus’ thing, it’s a load of crap, so if you are looking for the “manly-man” type then you are probably on the wrong page. The idea of acting a certain way or not participating in certain responsibilities with the reasoning “because I’m a guy” is a social standard to which people unwilling to grow as a person tend to cling. I cook. I clean. I’ve changed thousands of diapers, because I am an equal member in the household and believe in shared responsibility. Likewise, that same principle applies equally to my emotional side, I am not afraid to cry, to bare my soul or show my affections.
As for what I am looking for: I love a woman that is engaging, intelligent and passionate. Someone that is not below or above me, but my equal in every respect, a passionate romantic lover and best friend. A sharp wit and good sense of humor that matches my own. Body type is not a huge dilemma, but I do prefer a full figure. One that is responsible but doesn't take life too seriously to the point that they lose sight of the simplicity and beauty of just being alive.
