Hello! Hi! Hey! Hola! Nice-ta-meet-ya.
Do you feel an over abundance of welcomed yet? Or shall I continue on with the pleasantries? I trust I've used a sufficient number of greetings? Good. Great. Okay. Moving on.
So my name's Julian. I have an affinity for writing, reading, biking, hiking, and kayaking and don't spend nearly enough time doing any of these things. It's a pity really, but I find there are far too many things in life to be enthralled, engaged and generally distracted by.
I'm drawn to people who cultivate their creative sides. I appreciate any art-form which makes use of light, motion, or structure. I suppose that includes all of them. I guess I'm just a very inclusive person by nature; I see the forest for the trees and I eat cookies by the box (that's not a metaphor. I have a weakness for baked goods and chocolate).
There seems to be a drought of conversation in the social circles I swim in these days. Work & classes and life moving on means there's less time to just catch up with friends. So I'm looking to talk. If you've got a gabby side, great. If you've got a silly side as well, even better! Maybe I'm just curious whose out there.
