.I worked as a counselor for a long time with juvenile delinquents until I figured I'd repaid my debt for having been a wild child trouble maker growing up. I went back to college and got yet another degree, and now I am a home health psych nurse. I get along with crazy pretty well. It takes one to know one. 
My 14 year old son lives with me, but as he's now a teenager, he needs me less and less, leaving me more time for adulting stuff, whatever that entails. At some point, my son could probably just replace me with an ATM.
I've been cooking for my son and I for the last few years and we aren't dead yet, AND my son seems to be putting on weight, so I guess I do okay. I have kitchen things and I'm not afraid to use them. As far as the cleaning, I CAN clean, but my house will never be featured in Southern Living.
I am a rare man--genuine, honest, responsible, and hoping at some point to be in a monogamous relationship, but I also know my worth, and am not looking for quantity, but quality. Ummm... what I'm looking for is emotional and financial stability. Would emotional and physical availability also be asking too much?
My BA is actually in Photojournalism. While learning photography, I encountered a phenomenon that confused me. Some girls just didn't photograph the way I saw them. I eventually figured out that much of the time, what attracted me was personality, and that is VERY difficult to capture in a picture. I'm as guilty as most of us in scrolling through pictures and flirting with the attractive ones, but I'm well aware that someone can be physically attractive, but have an ugly soul...
I ride motorcycles. I've been riding for about 40 years, so that's not likely to change. People tell me all the time that motorcycle riding is dangerous. I care to differ--riding them is perfectly safe. WRECKING them is dangerous. If YOU don't like to ride, I don't see anything happening in the long term, but we could probably still be friends.
I DO smoke, but I smoke those little cigars as I'm not quite committed enough to smoking those big ones that burn for an hour. I NEVER smoke in my house or my car, as my son deserves a choice in what he breathes in, and I really don't like my home, car, or clothes to reek of tobacco.
Sometimes, I feel like my life has been a poorly written sitcom, only the laugh track is skewed and at times, I don't know whether to laugh or to cry, so sometimes, I laugh at inappropriate moments.
