Things more immediately relevant:
I'm new to this city, sort of. I've been here 6 months but I still haven't established a large network of friendships.
I judge people, but mostly out of amusement and curiosity. No contempt unless I feel their actions are hurting someone. I like to people watch a lot.
I don't party. Dark, music too loud for conversation, intoxicated people. It's an uncomfortable environment for me. I swear I'm not horribly socially awkward. I'm a salesman, I know to smile and laugh at the right points in conversation and how to shake hands with people. Parties just aren't my scene.
I like poetry and politics and philosophy and all the intellectual stuff, but I don't think we have to be constantly in that mode to prove to each other we're intelligent. I too like to watch reality TV and eat a bologna sandwich on occasion. It's okay.
I used to belly dance, but I have not been able to find a troup in this city :/ If you know of any please let me know! I also macrame (knot floss until it makes patterns). I was an exchange student in mexico half my senior year of highschool, so I speak a decent amount of spanish. I went to Missouri S&T for a semester. It's a long story but I promise I didn't fail out. I want to go back to school soon.
I am totally secure in my body. No delusions that I'm fat or I have horse teeth or weird-looking knees. No coddling or reassurance required. If you find this conceited, we will have a problem.
If I do not find you attractive, I will not message you back. sexual attraction is a component of a relationship whether we like it or not. If you find that offensive, we would not have worked out anyways.
