I'm still pretty much the same guy looking for that special lady.
As a reminder, I'm looking for a lady, a woman who knows how to accept an enjoy being treated like someone special, without thinking what does this guy want? What are his motives? My motives are simple, they're the same as everyone else with a pulse. I want to love and be loved. I want someone in my life that realizes you can't go through life looking through the rearview mirror, you'll crash! Someone who makes a conscience choice every moment of everyday to choose to look for the good, no matter the circumstance. Someone who not only knows and understands that we don't see things as they are, but as we are, based on a life time of experiences and beliefs. Nothing is, except for what thinking makes it so. It is what we choose to say it is, you can choose to call it all good. She should know in your heart that the secret to life is giving.
I believe in the Word of God, and follow it to the best of my ability. People are like sponges, they become what they are around, I avoid people with mental BO! I believe that your attitude dictates your thoughts, your thoughts dictate your actions, your actions dictate your circumstances......Basically, Galatians 6:7-8, you reap what you sow, pretty much says it all! I believe in the power of "re-framing" in "difficult" situations. I choose to look for the good as a way of life, all the while keeping Matthew 5,6&7 close to my heart. I'm not a religious freak, but I do consider myself blessed beyond measure, as I try to let less of me show, and more of my Savior, after all that is our purpose in life.
I do struggle with playing golf, canoeing, tubing, working out, biking, and/or down hill skiing on the Sabbath. I love good sex, actually is there any other kind? LOL Yes ladies, I know what the Bible says about sex. I claim spiritual progress, not spiritual perfection.
I have published over 40 scientific papers and have several patents. My work and I have been on "Good Morning America," in TV commercials, newspapers and several magazines. I've been on the cover of Experimental Techniques Magazine with one of my inventions, due to it's impact in automotive industry.
I've had the same best friend since high school, we were also college roommates. To have a friend, one must first be a friend.
