I lost my husband ( best friend ) of 27 yrs. three years ago, from a careless driver. I was in shock for a long time & very lost & depressed.
Now I'm trying to begin a new life. I like having a friend & partner to share the ups & downs of everyday life with. I don't like being alone but friendship has to come first. I'm not too sure about this dating scene, though. 
I love the beach when there is a storm, just watching the power and fury of the ocean. I also love harley's, quads, go-carts,car, truck and bike races,beach,boating,etc.outdoors fun.I love to read a good book on a gloomy day, relaxing by a nice fire in front of my wood stove on cold nights, country music & oldie's rock & roll (50's-70's). Quiet time. I love dogs & kids.playing darts, fishing, camping out with a camp fire, flowers, I also love to have B-B-Q's & cook, when there is someone to cook for.
I'm just looking for friendship & someone to talk with & have fun & do fun things with for now. I'm a good listener, too. I live in the country & enjoy mother nature, trees, deer, listening to the coyotes at night, etc. I love the outdoors & enjoy the beauty of the North West.
Once in awhile I like to watch a good movie, but I'm not big on TV. I keep my friends for a lifetime and like to stay in touch. I don't like game playing that so many seem to enjoy. I like an honest & straight forward person. Trust is an important part of any relationship, to me, even as friends. Life is too short for drama & games.
I have 2 dogs and I enjoy children of all ages. I didn't have any kids, just wasn't meant to be, but I am called Auntie by my friend's children & they have always come to spend weekends & summers at my home, even the teens. I have gone to school programs, open house and Doctor visits with some of them. I always take time for them when they just need someone other than a parent or friend to talk to or listen. I believe that children are the most important, & precious part of our lives, and should be cherished. They are loyal, honest, and very good company, & children are the future. They can put a smile in your heart & on your face, even on a bad day.
I drive a PU & like my jeans, but also like to get dressed up & go out once in a while even if it is only to dinner.
