And this is why I left DH in the first place....

I'm a single mother, and yes, I know there are many many OPINIONS out there on the subject....everyone has one, and must be heard.
It's very disrespectful in my personal opinion for people to generalize all single PARENTS by saying things like, "you should have kept your legs closed", "you should have wrapped it up man", "oh your child was born out of wedlock, you're a slut then", etc etc etc.
Walk a damned mile, just one mile, in my shoes, then talk to me like that....oh wait, that would take some intelligence.
I realize there are women and MEN out there that use their kiddos to abuse the government systems that offer help, that pump their children full of sugar and caffeine before they see the psychiatrist so they can be diagnosed ADHD and put on disability, that don't know who the baby's daddy is, or where the baby's mommy has run off to....but seriously, those of us who entered into parenthood with the belief that the other parent was going to be there every step of the way just to have their lives turned upside down by the other parent deserting, we don't deserve to be bashed, called names, or talked down to. I would not have been a good mother if I had stayed with my son's father, we were engaged, especially after he tried to choke me while I was pregnant with my son, just because I wouldn't end the pregnancy cause he decided after the fact that he didn't want to be a father, AGAIN...found that little tidbit out when I went for DNA testing cause he tried to claim that my son wasn't from him.
So, I don't care how you see this, either as a rant or moaning or whatever, cause my son is the BEST thing that ever happened to me, and you can suck a big  if you think I'm wrong for having him...out of wedlock, and raising him on my own.
