Celebration of life
by my2sunshine at 5/5/2014 8:17:26 AM

Yesterday I went to a celebration of life and sat with new donor families like myself...a husband, a mother and a sister. My husbands last gift of love and generosity was the gift of sight to 2 people and skin to a burn victim.
Today, I ask you all to consider giving life to someone else by signing up as an organ and tissue donor. More information is available at organdonor.gov

Facts:
1. There is no cost to donors.
2. Most major religions support organ donation.
3. There are no age or medical requirements to be a donor.

I am an organ donor...I don't need it when I'm gone. Recycling is good. Now I just need to make up my mind on the cremation thing...I like the idea as recycling my ashes into a tree and jewelry. Too bad I had already set up my final plans with the plots, vaults, huge headstone, etc...when the hubby passed.

If you donate your body to science...I hope forensic science doesn't get it. I hope you were just kidding...they have plenty of homeless dead people to desecrate.
