The Ten Commandments

Today the Ten Commandments or Decalogue are being forcibly removed from schools, government institutions and other public places.
Having no Moral law taught or displayed cannot be without repercussions as we now find sex, pornography, violence and crime have become accepted as normality in television, movies, music and the internet. If all this moral decay isn't disturbing enough, we now observe Christian organizations with their internet sites exhorting that we no longer have to observe the Ten Commandments.
Some of these web sites not only attack the validity of the Ten Commandments but also condemn other Churches that do teach loving obedience to the law as Jesus Christ instructed.
A few decades ago, anyone claiming the law was abolished was accused of antinomianism. Yet today, we see more and more Christians embracing the thought of not having to obey the Ten Commandments at all.
To keep or not to keep?
This has become the pivotal issue as we approach the closing crisis of Earth's history.

You can thank Madeline O'Hare for having a big part in this but if not her, someone else would have done it by now. What you are saying here has been going on for at least 20 years that I know of. Many of my friends have pulled their children out of school, even two got pulled from a Catholic school in Orlando for inserting worship the moon. When I looked up a medical question on the mouth in detail for my job the bottom stated they based thier information on evolution from apes. I am here to state, whether you believe or not, the basic 10 commandments are good rules to live by, period! This is why we are seeing the blogs on here that are so disgusting, they got away from the basic teachings of moral value and our youth aer struggling. That post today about cheating was a perfect example of too much TV, emmilating "The Jerry Springer" mentality and "The Jerser Shore" as a normal part of life to our youth.

Thou shall not be an American, and steal such documents from the American people!

The Ten Commandments, Suzy, were written on stone. There was a specific reason why that came to be. I believe what is happening in our country and the world is part of the end times. We must continue to pray and remember the WORDS WRITTEN IN STONE. Blessings

This is just one more reason out country is falling apart, people trying to take God out of our schools, our homes, and our government. We must stand together and show them they cannot do this. Tell them the people will come and show them in Novemeber, Take back our country and God Bless America.

I read that the reason they want the Ten Commandments removed from the court buildingss was that if offends the politians, judges, lawyers and other liars What I do not believe this country will survive if we do not take a stand. Those samd commandments are just good sense, even to someone that is not religeous....What is the problem, we are not kissing the hinders of the Arabs? If an atheist does not want to pray at a ball game stand politely and let me pray, I will not stop them from picking their nose or their butt when I pray if they do it quietly....

Roses: That was beautiful. If we followed the Native Americans 'commandments' we would be living a more peaceful life...

We should teach the ten commandments in our homes also. This blog was brought up in my church service this morning....The preacher is going through the entire bible starting with Genesis and is now into Exodus and we covered the laws given to Moses and watched the part of the Ten Commandments where the people of Israel were lead out of Egypt..Good blog....

Amen...I loved it.....You know David broke them all, but the bible says he had a heart after God..If we all lived by them, wouldn't it be a much better world

Funny (NOT) how a country that was built by religious people as far back as the 1600's now has God, the Bible and religious beliefs attacked on a daily basis. The non-believers will rant on, but in the end there will be a Judgement Day. We shall see who is correct then wont we

For your information Louie not all churches teach the Bible. I was raised Catholic and was told that the priest was the only one to read the Gospels. These kids today know more about wiccan, muslim, Budda, and less about Jesus Christ. We can't send Christmas cards to certain institutions, they have to be Season's Greetings. I personally feel my rights are being infringed upon. Being Christian is like being a leper.

Ole trucker your words are what I was about to say thanks for saying them.... if people would only realize what is in store for then if they don't change. My God with all of us.

We are none of us perfect...there was just ONE.....we can only try our best and thats all HE askes....I am just saying I see rudeness at every turn instead of trying to be kind, understanding...or even to educate....I have done it myself more often then I want to admit...butI try to catch myself and I now read everything twice before I post......
