The question in the title, in my theory can be linked to the same logic I theorize as to why Women date badboys.
"Why do guys date Fat Women with Pretty Faces?"
well why do we do this as men. Yeah we say to our self that they easier...
But in reality, the reason we do it, is because deep down in the back of our mind we see Potential
since they already have a pretty face, a few months in the gym will give them the chance to pull a Jill Scott, then everything would be perfect.
But in reality, we only encourage their fatness, not discourage it, by doing this.
We believe we can CHANGE them. When really we cant!!
Well women dating badboys and then complaining about it, logically from a man's point of view seem f**king stupid, but really its the same logic as the above example, just in another context.
these women believe they can CHANGE these badboys, but in reality they only encouraging that behavior.

There is a few ways you can look at it... The guy a actually is attracted to full figured women, the guy has developed a relationship beyond physicality, or in a more shallow light, the guy believes he can change her or he is an insecure person that settles. Both sexes are guilty of all of the above.

No, I like a pretty face more than a pretty body. I have to see a girls face before I can feel attracted. What I mean is when someone has a nice body across the room, it won't matter if her face isn't pretty to me but I have been attracted with pretty faces across the room.Though I do know I am not exactly normal in this regard.

Men want the perfect body on their women because it reflects on themselves in the eyes of other men who think like they do...it stems from a man's self esteem...he's only attracted to women who can represent what they feel they deserve, a 10...the perfect woman's body, with the perfect face...if she's also intelligent, bonus!
If she doesn't have the pretty face, perfect body, he tends to feel less about himself, as if he's not a 10 himself and they feel a loss of self esteem and in the eyes of other men...we can't have that, now can we?
It's called bragging rights....
The biggest difference between men and women....men are more visual, and a bit more insecure...

You know what I love? The feeling, and it is a feeling that I feel when I am interested or attracted since I was a kid, that I would always be attracted to a girl no matter how she aged or how fat. I recommend this feeling for all men because and all men can obtain it if they really want to. I now know that I fell in love with girls in elementary school and it was the most wonderful feeling in the world. I would not give it up for anything but I would my life and die fighting to make sure that I never did.

It never seems to amaze me how stupid people can be. If you stop and think about it, finding someone you don't want and then trying to change them into someone you do want seems counterproductive.
First...You find some you don't want, because she may have a pretty face and she is overweight. No thought has been given to her personality of if there is any emotional connection at all.
Second...Next, you're goig to try to convince her to lose all this weight...For YOU. Two things can go wrong. One...You discover that no matter how hard you try, you can't convince her to lose the weight. What do you do now? Two...She tries and discovers that she can't lose the weight. Now what?
Third...Let's say that she loses the weight and now looks really hot. How long do you think it will take for her to discover you're a selfish, egotistical a**hole and dumps your a** for someone better than you, because she is now out of your league?
The problem is...YOU are trying to change someone into what YOU want and not into who they are or want to become. It is all about what YOU want...Not them.

Going to the gym or Jenny Craig is still a lot cheaper than plastic surgery. If the woman wants to change she can do it. (I'm not talking about lap band cases, just the "few extra pounds" ones.) Sometimes a little attention from a man that she likes might be the deciding factor.
If a woman does not have a pretty face it's worse for her. Even lots of makeup won't help. She either has to have a great personality, excellent bedroom skills, or tons of money. (But if she has tons of money she probably can afford plastic surgery.)
I get your point. No one can change anyone. But with a little encouragement, they might decide that they want to change themselves.

OP: it is call attraction and preferences. Men and women does the same thing. I have my attraction and preferences and the others i would keep as friends.
