I have a problem with excessive PDA. Anything past a quick hug or a peck kiss is excessive to me. Passionate, sloppy juicy kisses, while shopping in Wal Mart, are a deal breaker for me. Gimme some thoughts from my male and female MoChat friends.

When i was a teenager I never minded it. But I grew up... Had kids... And now I wont do that kind of thing in front of my kids. Not sure what I would or would not do when im not around my kids because im almost never, not around my kids...
Though I have to say there have been several instances (usually late at night) when I have seized the opportunity of a dimly lit, fairly remote, corner. But thats not exactly what I would call public, and sometimes not really all that "affectionate", so to speak.

As long as there's no tongue kissing or groping then I think it's fine. It's good and healthy to show affection to the one you're with but private stuff needs to be kept private (minus dark theaters LOL)

I had to think about this for a bit since I realized you were not talking about a PDA Personal Data Assistant (precursor to the smartphone; yes I still own one).   
Seriously, I never thought much that this could be an excessive issue. Mom & Dad were always hugging, kissing, and holding hands with each other in public up until mom passed away. Granted none of the deep throat tongue or really sloppy wet kisses that seemed to be popular some years ago. But with them I always thought it was appropriate as a display of love or affection between two people.
