Did a workout split for the time yesterday.
In the AM I did an intense heavy full body lifting session. So instead of forcing myself to do cardio after, I waited 8 hours and then got the cardio workout in. Wow. What a difference. Not only did I have more energy but I was so much more focused mentally.
Now I obviously can't train like this regularly every week because I would burn out. But having two a days a week with multiple high intensity workouts combined with some low intensity workouts will get me the results I want faster.

Are you trying to slim down or bulk up OP? Thats similar to what I do, I just workout different muscles every other day.
Either way, do whatever works for you, everyones different.

That would make it 2 cardio workouts in 1 day for me if I did that. A full body weights workout alone would have me huffing and puffing for the length of the workout because of the amount of work. A built-in cardio workout, if you will.

well I'm getting back into the gym, I do 20 minutes cardio on treadmill, walking and jogging. last night did lower body workout, and did incline chest press, in mags best to do chest on days when you're not working out your upper body, soo I do chest press on leg days, and tonight working out upper body, like my back abds, lats, triceps, biceps,
