Hey, So I got my lip done about a week ago... and I know I have to do salt water rinse... how long do you think I should be doing that?
Also, when is it a good time to get a new stud? I'm opting for no loops... (and getting my new one at the tattoo shop and having them teach me to change it properly)

I've had three piercings in my lip. I actually use witch hazel for daily cleaning and one swig of listerine at night.
For changing the jewelry itself usually about two weeks to a month depends whenever its fully healed would be the safest.

I just did the salt water until the swelling went down and it didn't feel like death every time I touched it. Took about two weeks before I was able to take it out to change it but as stated, everyone is different. G/L

Thank you both i dont think i have much swelling at all...it was only swollen and red for thirty five minutes
