Some people say it helps them to recover.
The only "benefit" I saw was the extended pump.

NO supplements achieve vasodilation by signaling the smooth muscle surrounding blood vessels to relax. This reduces the restriction on the vessel, decreasing internal fluid pressure and increasing flow rate. there is a lot more smooth muscle surrounding arteries than there is surrounding veins. Which means, NO supplements affect arteries a lot more than they do veins.

This means that nitric oxide will increase blood flow into (but not as much out of) your arm, and at the same time lower the threshold for arterial collapse due to internal compartment pressure overwhelming arterial fluid pressure. Compartment pressure will rise more quickly, have an *easier* time collapsing your arteries. More blood in, means more nutrients into your muscles when you need it the most.

"greens", vitamins, and other minerals are great for your body but they wont do what an NO supplement will in terms of peak performance.

How is the NO pre-workout supplement that has stimulant free ingredients? I'm currently using the Omega Sports Ultima, which is good.

interesting so whey protein would slow down the capabilties of my smooth muscle... yet can I still accomplish the same growth in terms of protein usage?... I mostly eat fruit and vegetables and have protein meals four out of 7 days...(in the morning) but take whey protein as my after drink in workouts.... I drink water while working out though..

I take zip supplements. Drink 8-10L of water a day. Eat all the green veggies I can get my hands on.

Only supplement I have ever taken was HGH and it is not a supplement.

Supplements are a waste of money, there is absolutely no benefit to taking any supplement versus getting the same active ingredients from whole, natural foods. We didn't evolve eating pills and drinking powders, we evolved eating plants and animals.

It could not be more obvious, to me at least, that continuing to ingest what the humans (who everyone alive today descended from) ingested and thrived off of for 10s of thousands of years, is the best, most optimal way to obtain everything your body could ever need.

Buying into the supplement industry's hype is foolish, and when you sit n think about it, on top of being lazy, its cheating. Yeah, cooking takes more time than popping a pill, yeah, organizing your schedule to fit in the time required for preparing home cooked meals every night might be a little inconvenient. Its your choice, but "the edge" you think you're getting by popping vitamin pills, by drinking powdered cheese-waste and calling it "super advanced bcaa formula protein powder", and by skimping out on the huge variety of whole natural fruits, vegetables, and animal meat that you truly need in order to thrive, in the end, you're not getting "an edge", you're underperforming and missing out on your body's full potential.
