Yes he would have been elected either way cause all the republican candidates running for office are sooooo F*CK1NG stupid and are sooo far to the right. The only thing that matters to them is the money lining their pockets courtesy of the 99%. They also all favored to cut heavy taxes for top 5% making them richer. Then the 95% of the country gets stuck bailing out the govt with their jacked up debts they made.

54%,of every dollar,goes to the top 10%of the population,of u.s.(the wealthy) of which,93% are republicans..who voted to let the auto industry fail,job losses,let detroit,go under,more losses,and not stop the bank failures,more write offs for them,more losses for us,,immediatly after,they attacked dems for not enough job recovery,urban infra structure decay,and to much banking rules..the republicans are so far away from the american people,woman,and education..they should and are representing a seperate nation.their long term goal,is a lot like the sci fi stuff you see where the corporations,not the govt.will be regulating,and supplying our countrys necessities..beware start voting smarter..start excercising your rights to control your govt..or you will lose that right
