Have you ever gone to Litchfield Inn?Also good for week-end bands & dancing.Food is pretty good.Or how about MOUNT Tom beach for swimming and hikeing.Used to go every weekend in summer,when i lived in Watertown,ct.yrs. ago.maybe we'll meet there someday.

PPS, I love Mount Tom State Park! As a kid, my family used to go there at least twice a month to walk including our dog. Our dog loved to walk to the top. We'd tie her to a nearby tree, while we went into the tower. I still love going to Mount Tom...for nice views from the tower. Very nice any time of the year! I went swimming there a few times as a kid with friends also.
You know, I've never been to the Litchfield Inn. When I was going to middle school in the 1980s, I had a substitute teacher who used to tell us how he also was working as a waiter at the Litchfield Inn. He told us that he could live just off of the tips...that's how good the tips were. I suppose I've never been to the Litchfield Inn because I've always just assumed that the menu prices would be too high. But maybe someday, I should try it out.

What is the food like at the Litchfield Inn? In terms of variety, quality, and prices?
