My daughter is 14 and picks on me for not having a girlfriend. I just tell her she should find me one since they won't even talk to me.
That was a joke but it seems like single dads have the plague or something.

Be patient, guys. Good things come to those who wait. I'm a single mother and have been for almost 4 years. Men get impatient, because my schedule isn't as flexible as theirs, so they give up and move on. It's not easy, but I wouldn't trade my life with my kids for anything else in this world.

Ahh fellas u can use the single dad in ur favor.especially if ur envolved in ur kids life and have a career.apparently us good dads are very hard to find.makes since giving the court system pretty much make the fathers prove there worth while over looking the moms.any way keep ur head up good things will come

True story, just happened this week.
I start chatting with a guy from an online forum, he lives close to me. We have good conversation, seem to get along over chat pretty well.
He sends me a link to his online dating profile so I could see who I am talking to. Coincidentally, this means he can now see my online dating profile through the same website (not DH, different site).
His next response was "oh yeah, I have seen your profile before! I decided I wasn't interested because you had a child."
And, just how is a girl supposed to respond to that? "Um, thanks for letting me know you enjoy talking to me right up to the point of finding out I have a kid, have a nice life?"

Dude, single moms have the same problem. Hang in there and be the best dad you can be in the meantime.

Glad to see I'm not the only single father out here, that means some men are stepping up and doing what they are suppose to do, I am a single father of two girls, ages 6 and 7, although it's hard to have a social life, I wouldn't trade them for the world

Yes I agree it is hard I work full time been at the same place for 14 years and I have 4 kids and its impossible for me to find a woman all my kids live with me and I have that bad boy look but I'm a really good guy

It's very hard I'm single dad with a 1 year old full time pluss working 40+ hours a week then trying to find time to meet some one even harder. Then add in owning own house and trying to keep it clean and by time she asleep it's 8 your ready for bed
